Dell tempts hordes with MASSIVE DISCOUNTS on PCs

By massive we mean, er, not very big at all...

Dell is charming PC punters with a promo and the reaction is much the same as that of the ambassadors' guests when they were handed spherical balls of hazelnut goodness in the Ferrero Rocher ads.

A Reg reader who is helping to prop up the PC industry by buying one, chanced upon the latest hot promo for an Inspiron 15 5000 Series machine when scouting out deals online..

The “special offer details” for the biz PC give users the opportunity to grab one at a $0.99 discount. El Reg cannot guarantees stock will last, so grab them while you can.

And lest we forget, Dell is about to slap $40bn of debt onto its balance sheet in buying EMC. CEO Texan Mick D is watching the cents and letting dollars can take care of themselves, judging by the PC promo. ®
