Exagrid gets Nimble

Nimble and Exagrid are partnering for data protection.

Bill Andrews, Exagrid's CEO, said resellers are getting requests from customers for a product threesome: Nimble for primary storage, Veeam for backup software, and ExaGrid for longer-term backup and archive of Nimble snapshots. A Nimble-Exagrid partnership is a response to part of that. Nimble arrays will be able to have their data backed up to Exagrid deduping disk array targets with the two products grouped in some way for resellers. The two are developing and will deliver a group of go-to-market programs around that. Expect Zerto replication to Exagrid arrays to happen as well. ®
