Story to write next chapter for Civica Group

Get off your horse and outsource those services, says new deputy CEO Wayne

Specialist software and outsourced services slinger Civica Group has hired former Capita exec Wayne Story to take charge of the UK sub.

Most recently, Story was interim CEO at equity-based plan admin services outfit Equatex, and remains non-exec director at Montagu Private Equity and board chair at recruiter GatenbySanderson.

Story has joined Civica as deputy CEO but will “assume responsibility” for the Brit operation with Richard Fiddis continuing to run the international arm, including divisions in Australia and New Zealand.

Omers Private Equity splashed £390m on Civica in 2013, and since then the group has expanded its top line by 40 per cent and added 750 heads in the UK, the company claimed.

Civica develops CRM and CMS apps, and provides BPO, cloud and managed services. Customers include NHS Trusts, local councils and education institutions.

Story’s CV also includes senior roles at recruitment consultant Blue Arrow and Capita HR Solutions. ®
