Update A glitch in the UK's IT shopping catalogue Cloud Store is preventing access for suppliers and public sector buyers.
The team running the G-Cloud Twitter feed admitted before midday that there were "still issues" with the online service, and said it was working with Gov E-Marketplace to resolve them.
In the latest update about an hour ago, the officials said: "Cloudstore issue is a system error affecting public sector. Procserve are working on fixing it ad [sic] we'll update when resolved."
Suppliers told The Channel they were unable to log into the system, with a message stating there is a "problem with the details you've entered, please try again".
"Public sector [IT heads] and suppliers with access to the system can't get in - it looks like some sort of code or database problem," one supplier suggested.
Cloud Store had been hosted on Microsoft's Azure platform, but was moved onto Procserve following an outage in February that downed the system for eight hours.
Procserve is suited for IT buyers in Blighty's public sector that want to procure widgets, but is seen by some as a little too clunky for services: "It's quite an old system," claimed one source close to Cloud Store.
The Cabinet Office has been in touch to say: "The G-Cloud is currently experiencing a system error which is temporarily preventing suppliers and buyers from accessing cloud services.
"We are liaising with Procserve, the platform providers, who are working to resolve the problem and restore normal services as quickly as possible." ®
