Former Ingram Micro MD joins distie TD Maverick

Plumping up the European market

Channel veteran Julian Klein has pitched up at AV distie TD Maverick as European development director.

Klein has been out of the market in a full time capacity since he departed Ingram Micro in 2009 where he was MD for two years though has worked as a consultant at various firms.

“It took a while for us to find the right person for the job," said director of Maverick Jon Sidwick, adding that it was aiming to beef up speciaist, technical and distribution services.

Prior to joining broadline IT wholesaler Ingram, Klein was the boss at AV distie Steljes and before that had worked at Computer 2000 – the UK arm of Tech Data (TD) – as both sales director and managing director. ®
