Computer 2000 taps Widget UK boss to run retail biz

Foreman fits the bill

Computer 2000 has lured Widget UK boss Jo-Anne Foreman to head up its retail biz in the UK.

She is due to pick up the reins at TD Consumer Electronics from 12 December, reporting to C2000 commercial director Dave Watts.

“The establishment of our Retail and Consumer Electronics division is an important strategic investment for our business," said Watts.

Foreman joins the distie during challenging economic conditions, with the consumer market meltdown in Europe counting unabated.

As a result of the move, Widget UK has tapped up former commercial director and current non-exec director David Elder to run the operation.

Basingstoke-based C2000 brought on board former Bell Microproducts exec Colin McGregor to lead its enterprise unit Azlan. ®
