Distie tightens ups security deals

Bell tolls for cross selling

Watch Now : Virtual Machine Movement with Hyper-V

Bell Micro's security division is starting a new programme to encourage resellers to put security kit and services at the centre of deals that they do.

Bell's general manager of the security division, Steve Browell, said resellers too often consider security as a final add-on when selling servers or networks.

Browell said: "SECURE THE DEAL [their caps] aims to challenge this status quo by putting IT security at the core of our value proposition and ensuring that the issue of security is addressed in every mainstream business opportunity."

The programme will show cross-selling opportunities to resellers not experienced in selling security kit as well as showing specialist security dealers what Bell has to offer. ®
