Amazon is going for your Christmas quids by extending its "Amazon Prime" service to the UK.
For an annual one-off payment of £49 punters get "free" next day delivery to mainland UK addresses on their orders for a wide range of items. A similar service already runs in the US and Japan.
There are no order minimums either - you just order what you want. Members of the scheme can also get discounts on evening deliveries and upgrade to Express delivery is £4.49 for each item. You can also share the deal with up to four family members using the same address.
Items which are eligible will be marked at checkout but generally are the same as those which qualify for Super Saver Delivery.
