IT distie Midwich has acquired a majority share in Invision UK Ltd.
Midwich finance director Stephen Fenby said its takeover of audio-visual (AV) distie True Colours in April this year helped the firm decide to do the deal with Invision, a trade-only distie of home technology products.
"The success of True Colours and our own AV business over the past few months gave us the confidence to approach one of the top distributors in the consumer market," said Fenby.
Invision, which keeps its name, stocks consumer electronics from the likes of NetStreams, Logitech and Panasonic.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not released. ®
