Reg Tech Panel Virtualization is one of the hottest buzzwords in the industry. To many, it is a word that is synonymous with the use of VMware for server partitioning.
While this is understandable given that it’s where most newcomers have got their feet wet, there is a lot more to virtualization than this, and as many old-timers will tell you, it ain’t a new concept at all.
But it is also true to say that things are developing very rapidly, and in preparation for an eSymposium on the topic that we shall be running on November 6th (watch this space for registration details soon), we’d like you to help us form a view of the virtualization bigger picture through our latest Reg panel survey.
So whether you are into virtualization of servers, storage, desktops or all of these, or are in the process of investigating virtualization options and possibilities, we would be really interested in your opinions on everything from chip sets to business cases.
This is one of our shorter surveys that should only take between five and 10 mins to complete (depending on how much of a guru you are), so please get cracking on it over here.
