George Bush's watch clocked on eBay

On its way to Oz via Kazakhstan

It didn't take long for George Bush's wristwatch - allegedly swiped on Sunday by Albanian former godless Commies - to pop up on eBay.

Sadly, there's no photo at present to back up the sale, but the vendor does give a very good reason:

I bought this watch from an Albanian friend, he claims to have "borrowed" it from George Bush.

I can't prove it's an Authentic Dubya timepiece, (It has a Mickey Mouse face, as opposed to the Presidential Seal) but it's certainly a nice watch.

Obviously the watch is second hand, however it's in mint condition.

I'll add an image later when the watch arrives from Albania (apparently it's going via Kazakhstan)

You'll have to get in quick to snap up this purchase, i've already had lots of interest from embarrassed Secret Service bodyguards who want it back, apparently their boss is lost without it.

Well, El Prez can currently buy his watch back for a bid in excess of AUS$26, which is a lot cheaper than sending in a unit of special forces to retrieve it. ®

Thanks to Craig Templeton for the timely tip-off. Sadly, eBay has now pulled the auction. Either that, or the seller is as we speak on a rendition flight to Guantanamo.
