Intel made a foray into graphics way back when 8MB was a huge amount of memory on a card. They really haven't been in the game since then. I think Intel wishes they owned nVidia because the combination of AMD and ATI causes some issues. Namely eventually AMD/ATI will launch the much anticpated all in one chip that Intel could never bring to makret. It will be interesting to see how they react sometime in the fall or early next year because it is coming. The period for commenting on this story has finished |
