Kelway acquires Elcom

Hopes to hit £100m mark

Kelway has acquired rival UK reseller Elcom ITG for an undisclosed sum.

Elcom will operate as a separate brand under Kelway, which expects to see a group turnover of more than £100m post-acquisition.

Kelway managing director Phil Doye said: "Our growth strategy is based on a combination of ongoing organic business development and the acquisition of companies whose people, products and services are a natural fit for us.

"Elcom ITG is exactly that sort of company and has massive potential to thrive as part of the Kelway group."

Kelway has more than 160 staff at seven UK locations. ®
