Dimension Data and payment services firm TSYS have teamed up to target financial institutions in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia with improved managed services.
Dimension Data's call centre subsidary Merchants will support TSYS' managed services division to provide back-office, cross-selling, and up-selling functions to card issuers and merchant recruiters.
Some 200 Merchant call centre operators in Milton Keynes and Barneveld, Netherlands, will kick off the venture with more centres expected to be added if it takes off.
Merchants general manager Adam Foster said: "TSYS and Merchants have been delivering managed services to clients for the past two years. Extending this relationship to a formal partnership is testament to the success of the relationship."
TSYS Managed Services group executive David R Figgat said: "Merchants is an ideal partner to join our global strategy of offering 'best-shoring' and 'right-shoring' choices to our clients."
TSYS launched its managed services division in 2005. ®
