Dimension gets Unreal

Acquisition Czech list

Dimension Data Czech Republic has acquired Unreal Technology for an undisclosed sum.

Unreal Technology – a network infrastructure specialist – had estimated revenues in 2005 of $4.5m.

Dimension Data Czech Republic is part of the global IT solutions provider, Dimension Data Group. The merger will see 24 staff members from Unreal transferred to Dimension Data’s offices.

Unreal Technology spokesperson, Jindøich Radisch said: “The ICT market is growing rapidly in Czech Republic and there is increased demand for IT service providers that are able to deliver global best practice in terms of IT implementation and management, yet have a team with local knowledge that can also execute locally.

“This opportunity to become part of the Dimension Data Group is a positive boost not only to the IT industry here in Czech Republic, but importantly will be positive for multinational and national clients that demand the highest levels of service delivery.”

Derek Cummins at Dimension Data said: “The proficiency of Unreal Technology across a number of key technologies, including Cisco, Microsoft and Hewlett Packard, fits well with the strategic direction of Dimension Data in Europe.”®
