Apple sinks its teeth into Scotland

City of Smiles and Chelsea grins gets Apple shop

Glasgow is getting an Apple store, the company's first Scottish store and one in the eye for Edinburgh, Glasgow's east coast rival.

The computer company has applied to make internal alterations to 147 Buchanan Street - one of the city's top shopping spots.

Glasgow's Apple store will be run by reseller Scotsys and is opening this Saturday.
