Brief eSys will distribute Pioneer's optical disk drives across Europe, except to Germany and Turkey.
Mark Littlechild, a senior manager at Pioneer Europe, said: "Eastern Europe in particular is a thriving market where sales of DVD writers remain buoyant, and we see eSys' excellent relationships with system developers and the local channel playing a pivotal role in our growth strategy in the region."
eSys distributes kit from Seagate, Western Digital, and Maxtor and makes its own range of multimedia PCs. ®
