LogicaCMG was crowing today that it had a won a €14m, five year contract to support quality assurance and control of EC’s tax and customs directorate.
To be honest, we’re not sure tying yourself into the Taxation and Customs Union Directorate General is anything to celebrate.
Logica said large parts of the Directorate’s IT and operations have already been outsourced, while all of its IT projects are pan-European and at different stages of the IT lifecycle.The services firm will be using the Directorate’s own quality methodology, called Tempo.®
