Comms kit maker Nortel will is pimping itself out to SMB resellers more agressively by teaming up with its partner distributors for a new marketing push.
The campaign credo is "Grow your business. Think small." What the groundbreaking plan boils down to is providing European resellers with a truckload of new marketing bumph aimed at convincing SMBs Nortel's gear will increase their net profits. Nortel is promising "generous rewards" to recruits.
The comms giant said it would operate localised direct marketing programmes and the campaign would also involve a roadshow. It kicks off in the UK, Ireland, Germany, France and Spain before creeping across the rest of EMEA.
EMEA channel wonk Amanda Giddins said: "We are working with our committed resellers to increase their revenue and profit streams enabling them to offer new IP applications, convergence and secure mobile offerings with the knowledge they are fully supported by a market leading provider." ®
