Smaller resellers get own account team

Computer 2000, the UK arm of Tech Data, has set up a team to focus on helping smaller resellers grow enough to reach Managed Accounts status.
The team will work with about 50 dealers at a time, and aims to aid them to upgrade their status in about six months.
C2000 sales director John Doughty said it was a common barrier for dealers - they get to a certain point but do not make the move to "managed" status where they would get more support to push further growth. ®
