Computer 2000 is bolstering its sales efforts in servers and storage with two new recruits.
The Tech Data-owned subsidariary has tempted back Jon Kaiser, who left the company to work for nine months at Maxdata, the storage distie. At C2000, he will be business development manager for HP Storage. His appointment represents the "first time that Computer 2000 has put dedicated resource in place to focus on high-end opportunities in storage".
The company has also promoted Mark Glasspool as a manager for desktop and server sales. He gets to run a new team which will "give specific focus to each major vendor partner".
Steve Lockie, managing director at the company says: "We have a very tight-knit and knowledgeable team in place now and that's going to benefit everyone – not only the resellers who will be able to draw on their specialist product knowledge, but vendor partners as well." ®
