Serco Solutions nabs BT exec

Public sector focus

Serco has poached a BT exec to run its IT and business process outsourcing division.

Kevin Lavery, the new CEO of Serco Solutions, has a background in local government. Most recently he was director of local and regional government at BT Government. His CV also includes a stint as chief executive at Newcastle City Council. At the time of his appointment in 1997 he was the youngest council chief exec in the country. ®
