Opera 9 is go21 Jun 2006 12:06 Die BrowsermausOpera has unleashed the final version of its new browser today. Opera 9 features built-in support for BitTorrent searches and widgets for desktop dooberries, such as currency converters and World Cup tickers. Opera says it has boosted its browser's security capabilities, with better pop-up blocking and a security bar to block phishing attempts. Opera CEO Jon S von Tetzchner said: "For Opera 9 we worked hard to push the limits of what people expect from a web browser, with increased speed, new web standards support and innovative features." Opera 9 is available from the firm's website here. Microsoft's latest version of Internet Explorer, IE7, is in beta here. What fun we can have comparing the two.®
