Computacenter has opened a "migration centre" at its Hatfield Headquarters, from where it will give support to small software firms that want to base their systems on Oracle software.
The reseller is aiming to have 12 independent software vendors (ISVs) seek help at its centre in switching to the latest Oracle platform, either from rivals or from an older Oracle system.
David Callaghan, vice-president of channels and solutions at Oracle UK, told CRN (http://www.channelweb.co.uk/crn/news/2155380/oracle-joins-forces-cc-attract) this week that there was a "strong demand from ISVs" for its latest software.®
