Fujitsu and Computer 2000 will be teaming up to push document management products. Fujitsu hopes the trade-only distributor will help it peddle its leading range of scanners to new markets.
Another part of the deal will see Compter 2000's enterprise networking division, Azlan, double-team with Fujitsu to rock the channel with scalable document management, incorporating networking and storage technologies. It says these offerings will meet increasing demand from companies for highly evolved data capture and document management systems.
Fujitsu sales operations manager Mike Nelson said: "We are committed to maintaining our position as market leader. We’re confident Computer 2000’s expertise in broadline distribution and existing experience in document scanners will help us to achieve this.”
The UK partnership apes a similar arrangement Computer 2000's parent company Tech Data Inc has with Fujitsu Computer Products of America. ®
