Ingram flashes Sandisk to European dealers

No flash-in-the-pan

Watch Now : Virtual Machine Movement with Hyper-V

Ingram Micro is to flog Sandisk flash storage cards in Europe. The Über-distie is kick-starting the relationship in Germany and the Nordic region, and will then flash the products elsewhere in Europe.

Ingram has sold Sandisk in the US for several years and has a worldwide distribution agreement in place with the vendor. So it has been a little tardy in taking on the portfolio in Europe.

But it is enthusiatic now: here is a breathless quote from Anita Lussenburg, Director Vendor Management at Ingram Micro Europe. "With today's booming market for digital life style products and converged devices such as digital (video) camera's, gaming devices, smart phones and MP3 players, SanDisk's portable, high-capacity storage solutions present an interesting sales opportunity for our reseller customers across Europe. We look forward to working with SanDisk in Europe and to helping them expand their reach in the European IT reseller channel." ®
