Apple has confirmed it will open its latest UK AppleStore this weekend, in Sheffield's Meadowhall Centre.
The doors will open at 9.00am on Saturday, 10 December. The first 1,000 folk through the door will receive the obligatory free AppleStore opening T-shirt.
Apple also said it was running a Grand Opening Sweepstake offering the chance to win £1,855 worth of digital lifestyle kit - including a 20in iMac G5 2.1GHz (worth £1,199), a 4GB iPod Nano (£179), a Nikon 5600 (£149), a Canon MV800 (£229) and an HP PSC 1610 Printer (£99.95).
The closing date for the competition is 6pm, 10 January, when the draw will be held, so there's no need to rush.
The Meadowhall store provides the usual mix of retail, technical support, buying advice and opportunities to gawp at Apple kit.
Meadowhall is located just off the M1 at Junction 34. ®
