If you wanna know where disties make their pitiable margin, just follow the co-op marketing budget. IOf Ingram Micro is anything to go by, there is still some money available from wireless and data to pony up for spiffs, special offers and advertising campaigns.

The distie giant this week launched in Europe what it calls a "high-growth marketing campaign" for mobility and wireless data products. The tagline is "Get Mobile, Stay Connected" and the campaign runs throughout Q4 in all 14 countries that Ingram Micro Europe operates in.
