Mandriva, the Linux distribution outfit formerly known as Mandrakesoft, is revamping its channel programme. It will offer better marketing support and four different levels of relationship.
Partners can choose from Standard, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Standard resellers get business and product information through an online partner site. Silver programme offers sales and marketing support, permission to display Mandriva logos and pre-sales consultancy. Gold partners get all that plus full access to Mandriva's sales and marketing information while Platinum partners will act more like a strategic alliance with direct promotion. ®
