Systems Union in Ireland has acquired IT consultancy firm Equate Business and IT Solutions for an undisclosed sum. The transaction closed just over a year after Equate was founded.
Karl O'Leary, managing director of Systems Union (SU), Ireland, said that the acquisition would allow SU to grow its services and consultancy division over the rest of 2005 and into 2006.
"The consulting skills and resources that we now have available as a result of this strategic acquisition empower us to offer an expanded range of infrastructure, Financial and Performance Management consulting services to existing and potential customers in Ireland," he said in a press announcement. ®
