A leaked email reveals Dell wants to get closer to UK resellers.
The company, which prides itself on its direct relationship with customers, is running a reseller event at the end of August. The event is for a "select number of partners" and will include an overview of service and support offerings, a factory tour and a meeting with an account manager.
The email was sent by Paul Cawley, VAR sales at Dell. He would not comment further but Dell did provide a statement: "Dell works with VARs when customers ask us to, but we still keep our direct relationship with the customer.
