Technology Services Group (TSG) has bought another reseller - PJ Howlett Business Systems based in Preston.
PJ Howlett's former managing director, Peter Howlett, and ten other staff will join TSG North West but keep working from the same office.
PJ Howletts has operated since 1979 selling to small and medium businesses. It specialises in Pegasus Opera I and Opera II accounting and payroll software. The deal closed 30 June.
TSG has made 14 acquistions to date. It was started in 2003 by Sage founder Graham Wylie. TSG aims to be the supplier of choice for small and medium businesses in the north-east. It is snapping up resellers, especially those focused on smaller companies and selling finance and accounting software.
TSG now claims 435 staff in the UK, annual turnover of at least £38m and 9,500 business customers.
