Phoenix provides software bundles for Original Equipment Manufacturers - the people who make computers. Phoenix partners ship over 100m units per year.
Eleven PC makers have expressed an interest, including iQon, Olidata, Evesham, Max Group, ECS and Systemax.
Four big manufacturers and designers from Taiwan - Quanta, Biostar, Arima and Gigabyte - have also expressed interested.
Laurence Mark, a senior director of business development at Yahoo!, said this was the first of several deals to push the Yahoo! brand to PC makers worldwide. ®
