In brief Sun has announced general availabilty of Java Enterprise System Release 3 with better identity management features.
JES helps enterprises buy and integrate their software.
Customers pay a subscription charge for JES of $140 per employee per year. Sun claims 360 customers representing 420,000 seats worldwide.
Along with better ID management features JES 3 also includes Sun Java System Application Server Enterprise Edition and Portal Server Mobile Access.
